Texas Water Development Board Grant Requirements

A TWDB Grant was awarded to ANRA in January 2001 the contract was executed in March 2001. Amount is $411,000 and will be used to match local funds to perform a number of tasks.

1. Hold public meetings at the project kickoff, 50% completion and draft final report stages.
2. Evaluate instream flows and identify the impact on lake Columbia yield.
3. Evaluate for red cockaded woodpecker habitat.
4. Assess wetland and terrestrial habitat within the lake pool.
5. Evaluate existing engineering design.
6. Preliminary identification of compensatory mitigation.
7. As part of the grant tasks, anra will develop a lake Columbia web site. This will include maps, status reports, faq's, contact information, photographs, etc.
